It’s that time again! Summertime is around the corner. Let’s get this ball rolling by checking out this coil cleaner by Totaline that can be used on both indoor and outdoor coils and is concentrated so that it can be adjusted as needed for the job at hand.
This coil cleaner (PMB23-054) is nontoxic when diluted and has vast capabilities when the mixture adjusted for the job at hand. For evaporator coils use the 1:8 ratio, 1 part cleaner and 8 parts water. Spray your coil and wait 10 to 15 minutes and rinse. You have a choice to use a hand sprayer to rinse the coil or let the coil rinse with the condensation. If you use it on the condenser coil you use it is a 1:4 ratio, 1 part cleaner and 4 parts water. Spray it and wait 10 to 15 minutes as well. Rinse. They say also that the coil cleaner is non-reactive to the aluminum, so it cleans the coil from dirt and debris and doesn’t hurt the coil. Here is the part number for it. P902-0301
They also have a special 32-oz bottle available only in HVAC TotalClean Kit Part Number P902-9901.
